The AED Registry serves as a vital tool for locating the nearest Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) based on the user's current location. It not only provides details and directions to these lifesaving devices but also identifies additional AEDs within a 2-mile radius. Each AED is assessed with varying degrees of confidence, enabling users to ascertain which devices are ready for immediate use in emergency situations.

Users can actively contribute to the AED Registry by ‘Pinning an AED’ whenever they encounter one anywhere in the world. This feature allows individuals to verify new AED locations and reinforce the credibility of existing entries. By participating in this way, users aid in building the largest repository of operational AEDs globally, thereby enhancing the potential for life-saving interventions during critical moments.

AED owners are also encouraged to register their devices, providing detailed information to boost user confidence when an AED is urgently needed.

 <li>The 'Pin an AED' function allows users to identify and contribute to the existing database of AEDs.</li>
 <li>The ability to ‘verify’ a Pinned AED enhances the reliability and existence assurance of these devices.</li>
 <li>'Register an AED' enables device owners to add their AEDs to the comprehensive database.</li>
 <li>'Verified Ready' status is assigned to AEDs confirmed operational (battery/pads verified) within the last 30 days.</li>
 <li>Confidence levels indicating an AED's readiness are clearly identified for user awareness.</li>
